About US

Who We Are

 

The American Fire Sprinkler Association is a professional organization consisting of open-shop fire sprinkler contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and professional members throughout the United States and several foreign countries.


Formed in 1981, AFSA's initial goal was to establish a recognized apprenticeship training program which would be available to open-shop fire sprinkler contractors to aid in the development of skilled craft persons

What We Do

 Today, training and education still remain the first priority. In addition to AFSA's apprenticeship program, the association offers a wide variety of other programs. These include seminars and demonstrations which are available to both members and nonmember individuals and organizations.

Our speaker will be from Standpipe Flow Testing, they provide water flow for standpipe testing, hydrostatic pressure tests, trip tests, and pipe flushing for fire protection firms.


Chapter Meetings

Chapter Meetings are typically held on the Second Tuesday every other month, starting in January.

ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

Our Annual Golf Tournament was the BEST EVER!

On Thursday, September 12th, The Links at Challedon in Mt. Airy, MD was at capacity with golfers for a fantastic event!
